Review property totals and supporting files, then create an accountant export for one property or the combined portfolio.
Common questions
The working database remains in the app’s local macOS storage. Documents and portable records are kept in the Portfolio Library folder you select. You can choose a local folder, external drive, network location made available by macOS, or your own iCloud Drive.
No. OCR uses Apple Vision locally on your Mac. The app may suggest a document type, destination folder, relevant date, filename, and supported record values. Review the original document before accepting any suggestion.

Yes. Drop or choose several PDF, JPEG, or PNG files. Each document is reviewed individually and can be assigned its own folder and saved filename. Exact duplicate contents are identified without relying only on the filename.
Enter the amount and received date. A partial payment leaves the balance outstanding. Rent history summarizes partial occurrences, late occurrences, and the length of late payments.
Yes. A property can be held personally or through one or more corporations or owners. Ownership shares must total 100 percent.
You can select a year and one property or the combined portfolio. Every rent and expense row identifies its property, and related receipts and document registers can be included for review.
The app does not store the password and My First Home Inc. cannot recover it. Keep it in a secure password manager and maintain more than one verified backup.
Property Ledger Mobile is a separate iPhone app being prepared for release. It works independently and offers optional private record sync between compatible iPhones. The current Mac App Store version is not connected. Pictures and imported documents have separate backup controls.
